How Discipline Builds Musicians Over Time
Jake Smalls: I think discipline is what allows creativity to exist long-term. Anyone can feel inspired for a moment, but musicians grow when they commit to consistent practice, even when inspiration isn’t there.
Jake Smalls: Discipline builds musicians by creating habits. When you show up every day, even for a short amount of time, you develop skill, confidence, and trust in yourself as an artist.
